Sunnybank RSL Sub Branch Inc. is a proud member of the South Eastern District of RSL Queensland, supporting veterans, current serving Australian Defence Force members and their families throughout Brisbane’s southside. The Sub Branch provides welfare support, community connection, commemorative activities and a welcoming environment where veterans and their families can access assistance and remain actively engaged within the local community.

Commemorative Services
Sunnybank RSL Sub Branch proudly conducts some of Brisbane’s largest community commemorative services, bringing together veterans, schools, community groups and local residents to honour the service and sacrifice of Australian Defence Force personnel.
ANZAC Day
Dawn Service
Commences at 4:30am on the Sunnybank State High School Oval, Gager Street, Sunnybank.
Following the service, Sub Branch members are invited to attend a BBQ breakfast.
ANZAC Day Street Parade
Commences at 8:00am, with participants assembling from 7:30am at the Sunnybank State High School Oval.
The parade marches via Boorman Street, Lister Street and Gager Street.
Community Service
Commences at 9:00am on the Sunnybank State High School Oval and concludes at approximately 10:00am.

The Sub Branch welcomes veterans, serving members, families and community supporters interested in becoming involved. Whether you are seeking support, companionship, volunteering opportunities or community involvement, the Sub Branch offers a welcoming environment where members can connect and contribute.
Regular Activities
Community Drop-In and Support Centre
Provides a welcoming space where veterans and community members can connect, seek support and participate in local activities.
Line Dancing
Held on the first and third Tuesday of each month, providing a fun and social activity for members and community participants.
Social Activities and Events
The Sub Branch hosts a variety of social activities throughout the year designed to strengthen camaraderie and community connection.
Community Partnerships
The Sub Branch works alongside organisations including the Sunnybank Red Cross, Macgregor Lions Club and other local community groups to enhance services available to veterans and their families.
Community Hall Hire
The Memorial Hall continues to serve as an important community asset and is regularly used by local organisations and community groups.
