About Us
We operate from a dedicated Veterans Hub, the centre of support within hospitals for RSL Sub-Branches across Qld and assist veterans and families in hospital, by providing information, care, a listening ear and on-site support.
Our Mateship Visits
At the heart of our visits is a listening ear and genuine connection. We have a team of volunteers who provide visits inside Greenslopes Private Hospital 5 days a week. Our volunteers check in on patients to see if they need anything, share a coffee, and conversation, and deliver care packs and resources such as, DVA and Aged Care information, ADF newspapers, magazines, puzzles, and other materials, to help ease the isolation veterans may experience in hospital.
