The Ex-Servicewomen’s RSL Sub Branch was formed in Brisbane in 1946 by returned ex-servicewomen who had served in WWII. The Sub Branch has supported the needs of ex-servicewomen throughout its history. It proudly participates in a range of commemorative events.
By 2004, the Sub Branch membership had declined significantly. Through a partnership with the Council of Ex-Servicewomen’s Association QLD, membership numbers increased and the Sub Branch was saved. The Ex-Servicewomen’s Sub Branch is once again a vibrant group that continues to meet the needs of serving and ex-serving women.
